You can get free guitar lessons on your way to work, school or the grocery store and you don’t even have to have a guitar with you for the ride. One big factor in learning to play the guitar is coming to understand how notes sound and what makes them different from each other. Spend time concentrating on the music you’re listening to when you’re driving around in your car. After a while, you’ll be able to pick out certain notes or techniques in music just by listening closely. Then, when it’s time, apply what you’ve learned by playing a real guitar.
