The Popular Baritone Ukulele
The baritone ukulele is a musical instrument often described as a chordophone. It’s actually kind of like a guitar but is smaller sized. This is a musical instrument that has been popular through out the ages and particularly in the latin world of the 18th and 19th century. Americans became introduced to this instrument through people immigrating from Portugal and Spain. Perhaps the most memorable use of the ukulele is by Arthur Godfrey the popular post World War II entertainer. He was responsible for making the instrument popular with the masses. The baritone ukulele is very versatile and popular with musicians of all ages.
