If someone were to ask me to identify my favorite hobby I would have to say that it is watching movies.  My friends and I started a tradition several years ago while in college that endures to this day.  We get together one weekend a quarter and watch movies all Saturday.  The other Saturdays we are watching movies on our own, looking for ones that we can recommend.  Just the other day, one of my girlfriends turned me on to ares.  There I can download movies at any time of the day.  Let me illustrate.  If a friend text messages me saying that I have to watch a particular movie, then I can hop online and download it immediately.  This is a dream come true!

        Everyone loves to receive a poem.   It makes them feel that you think they are special when you send it. I love sending notes to thank people for gifts or for doing nice things for me. I found that writing poems that say thank you is a unique and memorable way to say thanks. There are many different characteristics in thank you poems; they can be serious, funny or really relate to the gift that was given. A poem stays with the person who receives it. Unlike a regular thank you card, a poem that shows gratitude from you is a beautiful way to give thanks.

Leon called a little while ago and we were upset to hear that he’s had a recurrence. He’ll have to go back to St. Louis for a consultation to find out what the plan will be. Sounded like he’s in pretty good spirits despite the news. He was even talking about doing some podcasts about living with a cancer diagnosis. We both encouraged him on that. He’s a real inspiration and I think his attitude is worth spreading.

We’re going to get together in the next few days to talk about the project and get him set up for it. Brave guy…
