Getting out of the rut
13 August 2010
The price of barrel of oil is climbing above $80.00 per barrel. In a time where Americans are struggling to make ends meet, this is not good news. The economy is not taking a quick turn for the best; it looks like we are in this rut for the long haul. There are things we can do to make this increase not have such a huge affect on our pocket books. First, plan your day better. Instead of planning a grocery trip on your day off work, stop at the store on your way home from work and when at all possible walk or ride a bike. If you live fairly close to a co-worker, start car pooling to work. Think creative and we might just pull ourselves out of the rut.
