CD Holders No Longer Needed

In a world of limewire and Itunes, people rarely buy music in the physical form anymore. Along with the lack of CD buying, there has been a lack of CD holders needed. While stores still sell CD holders, their use has been brought down significantly since the era of online buying and listening to music started. Now that we can store thousands and thousands of songs on our computer using only virtual space, we don’t have to worry about CD storage or finding a storage container to hold all of our music. It is stored taking up literally zero space because it is all virtual now. Holders started being able to store the CD as well as the CD case in a large stack almost. With the evolution of music and the way we play it and the amount we buy, holders started excluding room for the cases to make more room for actual CDs. Now these holders are mostly used for DVDs but even those are becoming more and more digitalized. So while music is still a large part of our culture, CD holders are no longer needed.
