A Jacket for Cool Weather

The M65 jacket was designed to be used by the United States Armed Forces.

Its official name is the M-1965 Field Jacket.

It was used throughout the Vietnam War and it served as the soldiers’ safety towards the cool, wet weather conditions in the Southern Vietnamese highlands.

The first batch of standard-issue M65 jackets came in olive green.

It has two hip pockets and two breast pockets from the front.

It also has a built-in hood that may be rolled and zipped up into the jacket collar.

The cuffs can be fastened utilizing the attached strips of Velcro.

The M65 now comes in various colors and camouflage patterns.
